Glenn Miller Orchestra and 2 new album releases featuring me!
Well hi there, folks! It's been a while since I've written; I'm not very good at this timely newsletter thing...I'm working on it.
Why the radio silence from me, you ask? Well...
I've been on the road touring with The Glenn Miller Orchestra for the past 3 months! With this group, I've gotten to travel all around North America singing not only Glenn Miller chestnuts but also other wonderful big band arrangements written by the likes of Nelson Riddle and Billy May for some of the leading ladies of the Big Band era including Ella Fitzgerald, Jeri Southern, and Anita O'Day.

We're currently on a break for the moment but here are the next few gigs once tour resumes again:

The English release of "So Right", the full-length, all-original album from The James Kob Experience and Partly Sunny Records is now available for purchase online at CDBaby, Amazon, and iTunes. The tunes are a mixture of contemporary jazz, bossa, country, and pop ballads featuring me and fellow vocalist Danielle Field. The International version of the album, featuring select tunes recorded in French, Portuguese, and Spanish, is set to come out later this month!
In addition to the live performances, I am featured on another side project with talented saxophonist Eric Hirschhorn and his new album "Living In The Question". I spent time this week with Eric and engineer Nick Chaffee of The Woodshed Studio recording vocals for an arrangement on the album which features a small group of fantastic LB musicians in a beautiful mixture of modern jazz with neo-soul influences.
