A big HAPPY AUTUMN to everyone! I'm sending this from the New England area...sorry CA folks ;)

“At no other time does the earth let itself be inhaled in one smell, the ripe earth; in a smell that is in no way inferior to the smell of the sea, bitter where it borders on taste, and more honeysweet where you feel it touching the first sounds." — Rainer Maria Rilke

In my travels with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, I am experiencing my first fall colours in many, many years, and I have to say: the majesty of the leaves changing is not exaggerated by any accounts.

In the past month I've gotten to visit Mt. Rushmore in SD (on my birthday, no less!), fly over TX in a WWII bi-plane, hike the Appalachian Trail in NJ/DE, and visit New York City twice, including Halloween in the Village. Now in just a week, the group will be flying to Japan for a 3-week tour of the country, visiting places like Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo (does anyone want any souvenirs or goodies? I'll be home for Christmas!)

Great Day Washington

I've also been traveling around a bit to promote the new "So Right" album from The James Kob Experience. Producer/Composer James Kob and I traveled to Washington, D.C. last month to visit Great Day Washington with CBS to promote the album, an all-original album featuring a mixture of country, pop ballad, jazz, bossa, and Broadway-esque tunes in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish.

New Albums to look for:

"Living In The Question", Eric Hirschhorn: featuring modern arrangements and saxophonist Eric Hirschhorn's gorgeous original compositions, the album is expected later this year and features two vocal tracks, one from me and one with Jamond McCoy (currently singing with a cappella group M-Pact) in addition to instrumental tunes featuring a team of CSULB alumni. "Tan Bien, Tão Certo, Tellement Bon", The James Kob Experience: The international release of "So Right" featuring 5 of the original tunes sung by me in Spanish, Portuguese, and French, along with an instrumental version from Gilbert Castellanos and two tunes in Spanish from vocalist Danielle Field.

Expected early 2017.
