MS Quartet show at Vitello's - 08/24/17
Upcoming show at VITELLO'S!
I'll be on a break from touring with the Glenn Miller Orchestra in a couple of weeks, and will be spending a bit of August and most of September home in LA. This gives me the opportunity to work with some of my musician friends whom I've been missing, and the gig I'm most excited about will be happening later this month, at Vitello's in Studio City! It's been a couple of years since I've taken a stage show, so I'll be presenting my modern jazz arrangements of American Songbook tunes, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban gems, and a few original tunes as well, all with a guitar trio led by my favourite guitarist, Shane Savala.
Want to join in on the fun? The show's at Vitello's on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 8PM. Tickets are $15, and Vitello's is a supper club, so there will also be a 2-item minimum for food or drinks. Buy tickets here!
WANTED: Cleanly-decorated living room, cozy backyard, or similar room with lots of natural lighting! (LA/SoCal only, please) I'm looking to record a few videos with my guitarist during an afternoon in the week of Aug. 15-19, for about 3-4 hours. If anyone has a room/area they think would work well for this purpose, I would love to give a free mini-concert in your house and/or monetarily compensate you for using the space; please send me an email if you're interested!
